Message from the Committee of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies

Amsterdam/Geneva 24 July 2019

The Committee of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies WFRTDS is pleased to hear that also in Austria a Right to Die group "ÖGHL- Österreichische Gesellschaft für eine Humanes Lebensende" has been established, and would be eager to have this organisation join our international federation of currently 54 Societies from 27 countries.

Since the WFRtDS wishes to see a world in which all people

• have the right to die with dignity, peacefully and without suffering;

• are able to make their own choices about death while taking into account the reasonable interests of others; and

• are able to make their well-considered end of life decisions in a safe and peaceful environment supported by the law,

it would be the first to support the ÖGHL in their mission, expressing the importance of a world-wide umbrella for national initiatives.
